Crunchy kohlrabi from Natalie's Garden & Greenhouse

4th of July

Yes indeed, we will be open to help celebrate this weekend!

We're excited to welcome back JenEhr Family Farm with the first of their organic blueberries, perfect with some ice cream as you watch the fireworks Saturday evening.

Find loads of options for grilling out from vendors like Bryant Family Farms, Highland Spring Farm & Pecatonica Valley Farm. Whether its chicken, brats, hot dogs, steaks or good old fashioned burgers, the market has what you need to enjoy that holiday cookout.

We do have a few absences for the weekend, so please check the Vendor Notices below, but we're expecting a great market and hopefully a break from this heat.

The produce is continuing to roll in, despite the weather and shoppers can expect more options by the week, like early cherry tomatoes, patty pan squash, field cucumbers and more.

For all you pastry fans, swing by Honey Bee Bakery this weekend for one of their delicious hand pies or mini quiches (pictured).

While we won't have a fireworks display to delight shoppers, you can expect a beautiful array of colors from the many flowers, fruits, vegetables and beyond.

Now that sounds like a lovely way to start celebrating this weekend.

As a reminder, we ask shoppers and vendors alike to please use the new gravels paths going forward and to let the old foot paths heal over and regrow with their native plantings.

See you at the market!

Ben Zimmerman

Market Manager

As a reminder to everyone, dogs are prohibited within the market area, though we welcome service animals at all times.
