Yummy pickled asparagus & dilly bean options from Steppin' Out Foods
4th of July Weekend

Summer is just chugging along now, and with it we're really starting to see some of the bounty roll into market.
Fresh flowers are becoming even more present with new options in at places like Yang Family Produce (pictured), B's Honey, Lor Farm and Country Bloomer's Greenhouse.
Soon enough we should be seeing lisianthus alongside big sunflower bouquets.

As strawberry season winds down, blueberries are on the way and even Bonde Bee had just a few tart cherries this past weekend (pictured).
If you're saving your grilling until after the 4th, load up on some great locally raised meat from vendors like Highland Spring Farm, Bryant Family Farms & Pecatonica Valley Farm this Saturday.

For those who have gotten sick of the heat and don't want to cook, grab up some fresh hummus from YallaDips, some tasty cheese from Dreamfarm and fresh baguette (pictured) from Madison Sourdough and go to town on an oven-free dinner.
Before we send you off on your 4th of July revelries, we have just one more bit of delicious news to share. Alsum Sweet Corn will return to market this weekend with their first corn of the season! You better be out early if you're hoping to snag some, so don't stay up too late celebrating.
A happy 4th to everyone!
See you at the market!
