Beautiful hanging baskets from J + R Farm
Bigger Blooms

Spring market season is really taking hold, now if we could just get rid of those frosty nights.
Some shoppers may have noticed less asparagus than they were hoping for these last few weeks and those cold nights are to blame, having burned several of our vendors crops since late April. Let's hope that's behind us as we move further into May.
The good news is we're seeing lots of frost tolerant crops coming in, like this pictured bounty from one of our newest vendors, Sun & Moon Farm.
As things warm up, the gardeners among us can get a little more comfortable putting some more seedlings in the ground, though we still recommend keeping on eye on the forecast for those sensitive plants.

Find a great selection of vegetable & herb starts from Emerald Meadows Family Farm, Blue Moon Community Farm and West Star Organics (pictured), all certified organic by the way.
For those looking for some native perennials, help us welcome back Tend Native Plants this weekend with their great selection of pollinator-friendly offerings.
The emergence of more spring produce is the perfect time to start playing around with the many delicious salad options to come this season. Check out this lovely bright spring salad recipe featuring crumbled feta and plenty of flexibility when it comes to what makes a spring salad pop for you.

Stop by the Dreamfarm booth to pick up their yummy fresh organic feta (pictured) to really make it a fresh market salad.
We're onto week six this Saturday and it just keeps getting better. Bigger blooms, bigger harvests, and warmer days.
See you at the market!
