Exceptionally Fresh

Rounding the corner from the 4th of July, we're moving into the start of true peak market produce season.
The variety grows, the quantity grows and the flavors just keep getting better.
Even the colors become more vibrant, like these beautiful multi-colored carrots from Live Jewelry Farm.
New arrivals of the past weekend included fresh fennel from Westridge Organic Farm, squash blossoms from Shoua Lee Vang and torpedo onions (pictured) from Sun & Moon Farm.

July also means returns from old favorites too. Last weekend we finally welcomed back Alice Good Coffee with their own roasted beans, plus freshly brewed hot & cold brew coffee.
This Saturday we're anticipating the return of Alsum Sweet Corn with the first fresh corn of the season, alongside their other produce offerings.
While we revel in the bounty of the fields, we're just as happy to come out for the many other tasty finds of summer.
Fresh berries go great atop a bowl of Anna's Granola, offered in several tasty varieties.

Sometimes you need a little extra zing with your green beans, and you need look no further than a jar of pickled dilly beans from Steppin' Out Foods, just as delicious as their pickled asparagus.
So much to enjoy as we move through the summer and it's just getting started. Might be time to start bringing that extra shopping bag...
As a reminder, we ask shoppers and vendors alike to please use the new gravels paths going forward and to let the old foot paths heal over and regrow with their native plantings.
See you at the market!
