Goodbye May

Now that summer has unofficially begun, we have one last May market to celebrate all the great offerings we've seen over the past month, and boy have there been plenty!

Crisp French breakfast radishes (pictured) from Ka Vang Thao, ruby red rhubarb from Sai's Garden and crunchy carrots from Emerald Meadows Family Farm are just a few of the many produce options, with more arriving by the week.

Produce isn't the only great market offering to shine this May. Market staples like fresh eggs, honey, maple syrup and more have been flying out of the booths each Saturday.

One such staple we see sold out nearly every week are the freshly made tortillas and tortilla chips (pictured) from Tortillas Los Angeles. Offered in a variety of corns and sizes, taco night with the Tortillas Los Angeles products is guaranteed to be excellent.

Plants are another May offering that move fast in the spring session. Hanging baskets, ornamentals, herb and vegetable starts, native-plant offerings, all in abundance at the beginning of the day but by closing are off to their new homes.

Before the summer season gets away from you, make sure to grab your favorite varieties from vendors like County Line Plants & Produce (pictured), Natalie's Garden & Greenhouse, Domann's Plants and Kopke's Greenhouse.

For our final May market, we're not done with new offerings! Help us welcome two new daily vendors this week, Isabella Natural Herb Farm and Uncle Tony's Kombucha!

We'll be in the thick of the summer heat before we know it, but we're glad to have one last crack at May market season.

See you at the market!
