Mid-Season Madness
This Saturday will mark the halfway point for our 2026 market season, and let's just say things are getting wild, and that's not even considering the crazy heat and smoke rolling through.
The produce options continue to grow, with new arrivals in like a plethora of peppers.
Find poblanos, Anaheims, jalapeños, bell peppers and the much coveted Shishito peppers, like these pictured from Emerald Meadows Family Farm. For a simple side dish or appetizer, try this tasty Blistered Shishito Pepper recipe.
Don's Produce popped in last Saturday, and will be joining us again this weekend with their fantastic cucumbers and tomatoes.
Grab some of their tomatoes, a ball of Dreamfarm mozzeralla (pictured), some Firma olive oil and some fresh basil and you're on your way to a delicious Caprese salad.
Beyond produce we've got more new finds this weekend, like Greenhouse Matcha with their tasty and refreshing beverages including matcha, hojicha and coffee options.
Our friends from The Deliciouser will be back again this weekend with their amazing seasoning blends (pictured). Be sure to stop by for a sample and check out their new single recipe portions too.
Of course, we'll be keeping an eye on the air quality levels before market to ensure a safe operation for all. We encourage those sensitive to smoke to either wear a mask and/or limit their time outside. We'll post any further updates to our website and our Facebook/Instagram pages.
Now let's hope this smoke clears and we can get out and enjoy the ever growing market wonders!
As a reminder, we ask shoppers and vendors alike to please use the new gravel paths going forward and to let the old foot paths heal over and regrow with their native plantings.
