Mother's Day Weekend!
This Saturday marks the fifth market of the season so far and a great chance to get out and get that last minute Mother's Day shopping done.
Before we throw out some gift ideas, let's touch on some of the amazing finds from last Saturday.
Happy Valley Farm made a (very) brief appearance with the first morels of the season (pictured). No guarantees we'll see them again this week, but it sure was a pleasure having them.
Ramps were another wild find from Bonde Bee this past Saturday, perfect for a fresh asparagus and ramp frittata.
Speaking of asparagus, our produce vendors brought out the best showing of the season so far, with lovely bunches of both green and purple, like these pictured from Ka Vang Thao.
It looks like we'll have a bit warmer of a market morning for Mother's Day weekend, making it easy to shop for those special finds for the moms in your life.
Flower bouquets never go wrong and Lor Farm has your back with a nice selection of spring bouquets.
If you're looking for something longer lasting, head over to Kopke's Greenhouse and peruse their many hanging basket options that can last well into the season.
For the mom that loves to cook, stop by and grab a bottle of gourmet olive oil from Firma Olive Oil (pictured), or one of the spicy gift boxes from Savory Accents.
The ideas don't stop there, for there are sweet pastries, yummy Wisconsin cheeses, starts for her garden, CBD balms for those hands and sore muscles, her favorite jams and jellies and so so so much more.
To all the moms in our market community we say thank you for all you do and hope that you find yourself with many lovely gifts in our appreciation.
