Summer Snacks

Our many thanks to all who came out and celebrated National Farmers Market Week last Saturday!

The good friends and market finds were plentiful and spoke to the abundance we celebrate throughout the season.

As the days keep up with the heat, we've been enjoying the many finds that keep us out of the hot kitchen, like the tasty ever bearing strawberries (pictured) from Live Jewelry Farm.

After a hard day of work another great option is splitting open a fresh watermelon or one of the huge Alsum Sweet Corn cantaloupes and just going to town.

Another no-cook classic is the simple, yet delicious tomato sandwich. Grab some fresh Madison Sourdough bread, your favorite fat slicing tomato, some mayo and you're in for one the best treats of summertime.

Speaking of easy treats, it's hard to turn down the ready made breakfast in the form of a fresh danish from Stella's Bakery (pictured).

The heat of the summer is certainly bringing us many options, whether we're in the mood for cooking up a big meal or just wanna snack away on something easy. With many more weeks to come, we'll be happy to take it all in.

In the meantime, it seems time for some ice cream topped with Yang Family Produce raspberries & blackberries (pictured). Yum!

See you at the market!
