Welcome to the 2026 Market Season!
Dust off those market baskets and get yourself ready for the 22nd season of the Westside Community Market!
That's right folks, we are back in action starting this Saturday, April 11th and running each week through November 7th this year.
We've got a great lineup for you, with plenty of your old favorites and several exciting new faces joining our market community.
Our thanks to University Research Park for welcoming us back again this year to the lovely open space in front of the MG&E Innovation Center at 505 S. Rosa Road. As always, please respect the prairie plantings and do not walk across them during the market.
Look forward to music from our friends the Market Ramblers, fun events for kids and plenty more throughout the market season to add to your shopping experience.
Sustain Dane will be returning for their compost collection program, and after shattering their goal for 2025, we're excited to see how many pounds of food scraps we can keep out of our landfills this season.
As always, FoodShare shoppers can swing by the Info Tent to exchange their benefits for market dollars to spend with our vendors. The Double Dollars program will also return later this spring, matching up to $20 of those benefits for fresh fruit and vegetables.
Our friends from the Buy One For A Neighbor group will also return later this month to collect donations for the Meadowood Neighborhood Center Pantry. We love this effort to help get delicious market foods into the hands of so many in our community!
For those looking to share the good word about the 2026 market season, please swing by the Info Tent and grab a flyer to share at work, church, amongst friends, etc.
We'll start of the season with a condensed lineup and then blossom with the flowers until we're back in our three-aisle setup later this spring.
2026 is shaping up to be a great year for the market, now let's get out there and enjoy the best in local food and Saturday morning community.
