With Love

Oh it's just getting into that crazy time of market season, when the options grow faster than what one can bring home.

We see the beauty in a double ended line for fresh strawberries at Flyte Family Farms, the first red raspberries from Shoua Lee Vang and the first green beans of the season from Yang Family Produce (pictured).

New arrivals drop faster than the meals one can eat in a week, yet that won't stop us from scooping them all up.

Fresh snow peas from Ka Vang Thao call out to be stir fried with some green garlic. Bunches of fresh dill draw shoppers into the Sun & Moon Farm booth to discover an ever widening array of tasty options.

The onslaught of zucchini and summer squash is just beginning with baskets of baby zukes coming in from Perez Produce (pictured) and larger squash just starting at Emerald Meadows Family Farm.

As June draws to a close, we rejoice to be overwhelmed with the beauty and flavor the market has to offer and for what's to come this summer.

Sweet corn and blueberries to come later in July, followed by field tomatoes and melons, followed by more and more and more! Truly a blessing.

It's a feeling that fills our hearts with love, something we cherish at market for everyone, as sweet as a delicious cookie from Judith & Jane's Bakehouse (pictured).

As a reminder, we ask shoppers and vendors alike to please use the new gravels paths going forward and to let the old foot paths heal over and regrow with their native plantings.

See you at the market!

Market Manager

As a reminder to everyone, dogs are prohibited within the market area, though we welcome service animals at all times.
